Arteriovenous fistulas in the female pelvis are rare, except in intrautenne cirsoid aneurysma. There are only two cases, including this case, of A‐V fistulas which become evident during the postpartum period in the literature. The patient began to experience left abdominal pain in 6th month after childbirth and an A‐V fistula between the left internal iliac artery and vein was detected by arteriography. Ligature of the left internal artery and left paravaginal vein was followed by an uneventful postoperative course.
