Stromal tumours of the ovary exhibit varying degree of malignant potential. Recurrence of the tumour long after the removal of primary one is not uncommon. In the present communication a case is described where total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingoophorectomy was done for unilateral well capsulated granulosa cell tumour of right ovary, at the age 40 years. Unfortunately there was metastasis at vulva 25 years after the primary operation.
