Summary1 A case of massive intraperitoneal hemorrhage resulting from rupture of the utero‐ovarian vein in the 33rd week of pregnanc‐ is presented. 2 The survival of both the mother and her infant was attributed to the earl‐ surgical intervention. 3 The diagnosis of utero‐ovarian vein rupture can be made onl‐ if one keeps in mind the possibilit‐ of its occurrence.
