A study has been presented of a 21 year old female Para 1 +1+0+1, who had delivered prematurely a viable baby along with extensive molar degeneration of placenta. The authors emphasized that the practising clinicians should always bear in mind a possibility of hydatidiform mole degeneration of the placenta coexisting with pregnancy which may have an innocuous clinical presentation but the complications afterwards may be the same as in a pre‐diagnosed case.
