The result of treatment of choriocarcinoma by surgery plus cytostatics was compared with that by chemotherapy alone. Though the combined therapy was superior to chemotherapy alone, it however deprived the patient the chance for further pregnancy. Twenty six out of 57 cases responded well to cytostatics and had delivered full term normal, healthy babies. The response to MIX alone before and after hysterectomy was the same.
