Med., 1982, 12, pp. 289–292. A karyotypic male with clinical and biochemical features of androgen insensitivity underwent sex‐reassignment from female to male when aged 5. Multiple surgical operations over the next 30 years gave a poor functional result. Androgen receptor binding was normal.
