Abstract: Pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle diagnosed by two dimensional echocardiography. L. Lee, J. Healey and J. D. Woolridge, Aust. N.Z. J. Med., 1982, 12, pp. 56–59. A patient with pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle, a rare complication of transmural myocardial infarction, is reported. The differentiation of the pseudoaneurysm from true aneurysm of the left ventricle was made by two‐dimensional echocardiography, and the practical importance of making this distinction is discussed.
