Summary Oxygen therapy for pneumatosis coli: A report of two cases and a review. S. P. Lee, H. A. Coverdale and G. I. Nicholson, Aust. N.Z. J. Med., 1 977, 7 , pp. 44–46. Two patients with incapacitating symptoms from pneumatosis coli were successfully treated with high concentration oxygen (55–70%) inhalation via a Hudson face mask for five days. Symptoms improved dramatically starting on the third treatment day. Continuous restriction in an oxygen tent is unnecessary. This is an effective, simple and safe therapy for pneumatosis coli.
