Summary: A patient with type B Wolff‐Parkinson‐White syndrome developing recurrent ventricular fibrillation is presented. Frequent ventricular premature beats preceded the onset of ventricular fibrillation which occurred on five occasions. A combination of lignocaine, practolol, procaineamide and atrial pacing suppressed the recurrence of ventricular premature beats and ventricular fibrillation.
