A case is reported in which a young male who underwent right hepatectomy necessitated by gunshot wound to the liver, survived 2h 20min of normothermic hepatic ischaemia. This case extends the documented duration of hepatic ischaemia compatible with survival and documents the histopathology of the post‐ischaemic liver.
