A 29 year old man presented with heroin overdose and rhabdomyolysis necessitating fasciotomy of the left leg muscle compartments. Early recognition of the syndrome of heroin‐induced rhabdomyolysis and compartment syndrome is essential to prevent long‐term orthopaedic complications.
