The Seventh International Congress on Burn Injuries was held in Melbourne, 23–28 February 1986, and is the most important conference on burn injuries. It is sponsored by the International Society for Burn Injuries and held every 4 years in various countries. On this occasion the Australian and New Zealand Burn Association was proud to be host to congress with 450 delegates from 50 countries.
