Electrical Burn of the Abdomen: Report of a Case

Despite the relative frequency of electrical burns, abdominal burns are rare. Associated lesions involving intraabdominal viscera are even rarer, and may or may not be present. The uncommon nature of presentation and the intriguing features of the present case have prompted this review. Extensive search of the world literature has revealed only seven more cases of this type, and in none of them was vesical involvement seen. The problems of management of these injuries are outlined.
