The natural history is recorded of a hematoma in the right iliac fossa, following an injury in a hemophiliac at the age of 18 years, which steadily increased in size over a period of rather more than 50 years. It continued to grow until it occupied a very large part of the lower abdomen and the pelvis. It also erupted through a large defect in the ilium and presented as a massive tumour in the buttock and back.
