A case of chronic gastric ulccr in Q 12‐month‐old aboriginal infant who presented with hœmatemesis and melœna is described. The diagnosis was made at laparotomy, and a Billroth I gastrectomy was performed. A 12 months' follow‐up is presented, and diagnostic problems and possible nutritional scquelœ are discussed .
