This is a report of the follow‐up investigation of 205 cases of bone graft of the tibial shaft, in which three different techniques were used—cortical sliding graft, canccllous graft and Phemister‐type graft. The three methods are compared, with special reference to the rates of healing and the problem of sepsis. The results show that Phemister grafting was the most reliable method used.
