Summary A case of Hodgkin's disease of the colon with associated demyelination is described which presented with neurological disturbances and was initially considered to be suffering from disseminated sclerosis. Persistent diarrhoea led to her admission to hospital where perforation of her sigmoid colon occurred. A colectomy was performed and her clinical features and the macroscopical appearances of the specimen suggested ulcerative colitis.
