Summary1 The chief disorders of blood coagulation are discussed as predisposing or complicating factors in intracranial haemorrhage. 2 Six cases of intracranial haemorrhage associated with various coagulation defects (haemophilia, hypoprothrombinaemia, and platelet deficiencies) are presented. Their management is discussed. 3 If the coagulation defect can be corrected or controlled, there is a reasonable possibility that surgical evacuation may be successful, especially when the haema‐toma is superficially situated.
