Summary The results of treatment of 80 cases of hydatid cyst of the lung are given: 4 were fatal; the sequelae discussed are:‐ Anaphylactic shock; Lung hydatid abscess; persistent cavity, and chronic empyema; recurrence of daughter cysts; fibrosis and bronchiectasis. Methods of prevention and treatment of sequelae are referred to.
