Summary (a) A case of atypical lymphadenoid goitre is described. (b) There was marked forward displacement of the trachea. (c) The gland encircled completely the lower part of the larynx and upper trachea. (d) Histological examination showed features of Hashimoto's disease and Reidel's struma.
