Podolsky phenocurves were constructed to model the development of larvae and pupae of Pterohelaeus darlingensis under fluctuating temperatures. The models lny =9.90 — 1.78lnx and lny = 8.71 — 1.93lnx give the best estimates for larval and pupal development, respectively. These models are shown to be inferior to those derived with the DEVAR program for modelling development in fluctuating temperatures.
