A double masked cross‐over study was carried out to compare the intraocular pressure lowering effect of Timolol maleate 0.25% and Dipivalyl epinephrine (DPE) 0.1% eye drops. Timolol showed a greater effect in reducing intraocular pressure, with a mean reduction of 8.0 mm/Hg than did DPE, with a mean reduction of intraocular pressure of 4.3 mm/Hg.
