Two methods of recording the clinical electroretinogram were compared on the basis of comparable results, ease of use, and patient acceptance. The two methods were, using a Burian‐Allen Contact Lens Electrode, or using silver‐electrodes placed on the skin surrounding the eye. Twenty normal subjects were tested.
