S ummary A case of acute Posterior Multi‐focal Placoid Pigment Epitheliopathy Associated with Erythema Nodosum is described in a 23‐year‐old woman who had received Amoxycillin (Amoxil) for a non specific febrile illness. The benign nature of the lesions and spontaneous resolution with no therapy is stressed. The absence of abnormality on systemic work‐up, except a high E.S.R. is noted. The ætiology of the condition is discussed and the possibility raised that the lesions may be due to a hypersensitivity reaction with an associated abnormality of the choroid and overlying retinal pigment epithelium.
