S ummary F ifty ‐ five patients required urgent therapeutic keratoplasties (hot grafts) in the 10 year period 1965 to 1974 inclusive, at Sydney Bye Hospital. These patients suffered extensive corneal diseases including corneal abscesses, widespread keratitis, severe ulceration and perforations or threatened perforations.
