Summary A new ophthalmoscopic sign of early disc abnormality is described. The circumstantialassociation of this with a great variety of clinical types and degrees of glaucoma described elsewhere (Cher and Robinson, 1973) has been here supported by statistical analysis of findings of 271 patients.
