A 71‐year‐old man was referred to our hospital because of hematuria. A computed tomography scan showed a huge aneurysm (43 × 32 × 30 mm) in the right kidney. The patient was treated successfully with transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) using detachable steel coils. At present, 1 year after TAE, the patient has no hematuria and hypertension. To our knowledge, this case is the second largest aneurysm treated successfully by TAE.
