An autopsy case of thanatophoric dwarfism with renal hypoplasia is described. Histologically, the characteristic findings were disorganization of endochondral ossification at the epiphyseal plate of each femu, and this findings were useful for different diagnosis. Hypogenesis of the right kidney is rare in this disorder, and is suggestive of the vaiety of this disorder.
