Specimens recorded as Lepidosinella armata Handschin 1920 from Jenolan Caves by Richards and Lane (1966) are identified as Coecobrya sp. nr hoefti Schäffer 1987 and are described and figured. A key is given to the Sinella and Coecobrya species known from Australia.
