Two species of Elasmus Westwood, E. broomensis sp. n. and E. bellicaput Girault, are parasitoids of Pectinophora gossypiella in the northern area of Western Australia. E. broomensis is described and E. bellicaput redescribed. Aspects of the biology of the parasitoids and their potential as biological control agents are discussed.
