Aradelloides gen. n. is described with 3 new Australian species— A. maculatus (type‐species), A. wilsoni and A. taylori —and compared with another Australian endemic genus, Aradellus Westwood. The new genus is considered more apomorphic than Aradellus and is placed with it in the tribe Aradellini, the diagnosis of which is here modified.
