V. zweifelorum sp. n. is figured and described from Cophixalus neglectus Zweifel and Sphenophryne robusta (Fry) (Salientia: Microhylidae), and Taudactylus acutirostris (Andersson) (Myobatrachidae). V. gloriosa Domrow is newly recorded from T. eungellensis Liem and Hosmer. Both species of chiggers are restricted to the rainforests of eastern Queensland.
