Perilampus franzmanni Galloway sp. n., a parasite of Orgilus lepidus Muesebeck, an introduced braconid parasite of potato moth, Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller), is described and figured. Planidia of P. franzmanni fail to develop further when they attack unparasitised Ph. operculella larvae or those parasitised by the introduced encyrtid Copidosoma desantisi Annecke and Mynhardt.
