Hickmanella gen. n. is erected for H. intrudens (Hickman) comb. n. and H. holoplatysa sp. n., egg parasites of salticid spiders. The range of H , intrudens is extended to include mainland Australia. The biology of both species is briefly discussed and a key provided to distinguish them.
