The three species of the piatycephalus group of the genus Rhabdepyris are reviewed. R. platycephalus (Westwood) is redescribed, with R. spinosimanus Kieffer and R. australiensis Kieffer as new synonyms. Two are described as new: R. perpulcher and R. peregrinus. All three species occur throughout much of mainland Australia.
