
THE OCCURRENCE IN AUSTRALIA OF DINIELLA BERGROTH (HEMIPTERA: LYGAEIDAE: RHYPAROCHROMINAE) WITH REDESCRIPTIONS OF TWO SPECIES

The predominantly Oriental genus Diniella (Lethaeini) is newly recorded from the Australian region. The type‐species, D. glabrata (Stål), is redescribed and recorded from tropical Western Australia and north Queensland, and from Sarawak, East Malaysia. D. insignis Distant is synonymised with D. glabrata. D. pallipes (Scott) is redescribed and recorded from the extreme north‐east of Queensland.
