A new subgenus Trichogrammanza is erected for Trichogramma funiculatum sp. n. reared from the eggs of the light brown apple moth and the oriental fruit moth at Loxton, South Australia. The female of the new species is a typical Trichogramma but the antenna of the male has two distinct funicle segments.
