SUMMARY Heliothis armigera males were captured in traps baited with mixtures of Z‐11‐hexadecenal and Z‐9‐tetradecenal. Much lower numbers of H. punctigera males were trapped. Greater numbers of this species were captured when Z‐11‐hexadecenal acetate was added to the aldehyde blend.
