The Ceratocanthidae (= Acanthoceridae) known from Australia are reviewed. They comprise two species of Pterorthochaetes Gestro and Cyphopisthes descarpentriesi sp. n., the lattermost from nests of Mastotermes darwiniensis Froggatt. All three are from the state of Queensland
