
THE LEPIDOPTEROUS FAUNA OF CAPEWEED ( ARCTOTHECA CALENDULA ) IN VICTORIA WITH KEYS FOR LARVAL IDENTIFICATION

The larvae of eleven species of Lepidoptera belonging to six families were found to feed on capeweed ( Arctotheca calendula ) in Victoria. Taxonomic descriptions of most of the larvae and keys for their identification are presented. Some of the Lepidoptera found are economically important.
