The olivaceus species‐group of genus Paraschizognathus Ohaus is reviewed, and 3 new species from New South Wales are described: P. frazieri, P. briftoni and P. miskoi. Notes on, and additional localities for, several previously described species are given. The behavioural and morphological specializations of Paraschizognathus spp. are discussed briefly.
