Abstract Two new species of Ectopsocus, edwardsi sp.n. and spiculatus sp.n., are described from Victoria. E. edwardsi shows characteristics intermediate between those of Ectopsocus and Interpsocus Edwards, and the latter is confirmed as a synonym of Ectopsocus.
