The male genitalia of Lampromicra femorata (Walker), L. regia (Bergroth), L. aerea (Distant), Calliscyta australis Distant and Calliphara cruenta Stål are described. L. femorata has an identical type of genitalia to that of L. senator (Walker) and is probably a colour variety of the latter. Features are listed common to all species of Lampromicra so far examined. Calliphara cruenta in common with other species referred to this genus belongs to the Sphaerocoraria. A revised key for male Scutellerinae is given.
