An unusual case is presented of a thirty‐year‐old woman in whom basal cell epithelioma developed from a preexisting localized epidermal nevus in the scalp. The epidermal nevus was not associated with any abnormal pilosebaceous complexes. Acta pathol. jpn. 34: 859∼862, 1984.
