Six autopsy cases of cholecysto‐intestinal fistula are reported. Although the hitherto literature states cholelithiasis to be the most frequent cause of this condition, only one out of the six was attributed to cholecystitis with gall stones. The causes of the remaining five cases were carcinoma of gall bladder in two cases, carcinoma of colon in one case, and duodenal ulcer in two cases, respectively. The importance of malignancy as a common factor in the etiology of cholecysto‐Intestinal fistula is stressed.
