This report consists of one case who died after a neuropsychological disorder of the central nervous system consistent with Behcet's syndrome clinically and pathologically. Post‐mortem examination of the central nervous system revealed disseminated meningo‐encephalitis with multiple foci of softening, demyelinization and glial accumulation throughout the brain, especially in the thalamus, midbrain and pons. Review of the literature revealed about 30 cases including 17 cases in Japan.
