A group of rats received intraperitoneal injections of methamphetamine (MAP) once a day for 14 days. Seven days after the last injection, the striatal dopamine efflux its inhibition by a low dose (100 μg/kg) of apomorphine were examined by in vivo intracerebral dialysis. The extent of inhibition was not altered after the MAP pretreatment, which does not suggest the presence of subsensitivity of dopamine auto‐receptors.
