Summary This is a report of opsoclonus and somatic myoclonus associated with acute cerebellar ataxia. The cardinal feature is the acute onset, after the brief prodromal symptoms, such as nausea and vomiting, of dramatic cerebellar ataxia with opsoclonus and somatic myoclonus. The pathophysiological basis for this phenomenon is postulated.
