Summary Eight cases of unusual intracranial tumors are reported, three of them being granulomas. Tubercles are more frequent in Japan ( Nakata . 6 percent) than in the United States ( Cushing , 1.5 percent; Davis , 1.0 percent) but apparently less frequent than in Chile ( Asenjo , 19.8 percent). Rare tumors in unusual situations make difficulties for diagnosis and treatment.
