Summary Concerning the principles and methods of dorsomedial thalamotomy, thought out and executed by the author for the first time, descriptions as well as comments have been given The two cases operated for the first time, schizophrenic patient and a genuine epileptic one, showed definite improvements clinically. This operation affords a promising prospect for clinical application with psychoses, particularly with genuine epilepsy.
